Glossary

It is impossible to fully grasp the concept of model railroading without knowing these terms.

European Association of Model Railroaders and Railroad Friends is equivalent of NMRA in continental Europe governing standards for European market model railroad manufacturers. Some of our compact curved track segments for European market will be built with reference to MOROP defined NEM (Normen Europäischer Modellbahnen), German for European Modeling Norms.

NMRA

National Model Railroad Association: non-profit organization founded in 1935 with the aim to standardize model railroading between manufacturers to ensure cross compatibility, excluding mainland Europe. Our wheelset products will follow standards outlined in NMRA's S-3.1 and TN-1.1.1 documentation.
